I have a way for you to try brussel sprouts...I use frozen...place on a cookie sheet~drizzle with EVOO~kosher salt and a little pepper....bake at 200 degrees for about an hour (or more) until they are caramelized (the longer they bake the better without burning them, of course...they are delicious, very sweet. I'm like you, sometimes they can be very bitter...not when you cook them like this. I did this one night and my oldest son (who has been married for 11 years) ate one and told me if I'd done that when he was little, he would have eaten them...he loved them! This recipe is from Barefoot Contessa. Try!!!
