I went to a few Bobby Flay places in NYC that are now closed (Mesa Grill, Bar Americain, and Bolo). There were all excellent. I even met Bobby on one occasion at Mesa Grill and had a short chat with him, he was so nice and friendly.  All those places closed because the landlord jacked up the rent, not because they were not successful.  I would like to try Gato but have not gotten around to it.  Have also dined at Bar Amercain in Mohegan Sun and it was very good.

has anyone ever eaten at his restaurant. I did for the first time and omg... its a 5 star restaurant so very expensive, but worth trying at least once. excellent food.. i want to go back and i was just there. for the 2 of us it was about 150.00 but like i said i dont do that all the time.. and i could of ordered just the baked alaska for dessert and had just that!!!! excellent, and ever since i had it i have been craving it everyday since.. so try it out. i went to the one at the borgata in atlantic city.

@bonnie f  I was taken to lunch at his NYC location (which has since closed) and was extremely disappointed.  I couldn't get a well done steak to save my life.  The ended up not charging for my meal.

@bonnie f  I just went to a Bobby Flays last Sunday.  It was at Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut.  We saw Rob Thomas in concert and had dinner there before going into the arena.  It is a very good restaurant, granted pricey but the food was delicious and the wine was good too!  It was our anniversary weekend so a special occassion.  Happy you enjoyed it.

yes i definetely would go again.. its not that i go out and spend lots of money on dinners, but once in awhile isnt bad and omg that baked alaska i could eat that a few times a week  lol
