The only way that I like my eggs prepared is scrambled. My mother always made them with a small amount of milk. That is the method that I've always used.
In many recipes I've seen water being used instead of milk. I'm sure that keeps the calories down but it doesn't seem as tasty to me.
How do you prepare scrambled eggs?

@J Town Girl I've always used a little milk also.

I've seen recipes with water too, but prefer and use milk.

I dont add anything to my scrambled eggs while cooking them in butter. I try to be patient and use medium to lower heat and move the eggs to form soft curds. Bobby Flsys says not to add salt until the end so i don't anymore. I will add cheese at the end if I have it. I cut the burner off early and let residual heat finish.
Confession: I love ketchup with scrambled eggs.

Is there a difference between scrambled eggs and a plain omelet ? Just curious...

2% milk about 1 tablespoon per 2 eggs and low heat. .

I include 4 eggs and a couple tablespoons of half & half.

I make them with water or milk depending in my mood. Water makes them fluffier and lighter, IMO.
Sometimes I fry some onion in the pan before I add the scrambled eggs. This makes a good egg sandwich.
I like them with small cubes of cream cheese and bits of smoked salmon scrambled in with the eggs.
Cottage Cheese, sour cream or yogurt makes scrambled eggs yummy.
They are best cooked in a little butter.

Isn't an omelet cooked in one piece instead of broken up. I don't know if the omelet is about how it's cooked or that stuff is added to it.

I grew up with them made with milk, but I tried water once and they are much fluffier and I prefer that. To make them creamier, I use about a teaspoon of parmesan cheese!
