Still got that little one from QVC with the French doors
The 30 inch wall oven never preheated my TV dinner after 15 minutes. Oven was cold. Had to put in microwave. Yuck ! not as good as oven.
Bought a GE plain Jane. The old one was from 2009, so, guess it was time to die. Now, they're putting air fryers and convenction cooking in the ovens and running up the price to 2,000 and better.
One popular appliance center didn't have what they advertised for 999 and on top of that had no installation people anyway. Told the guy "I can't install a oven" LOL
Ended up at a mom and pop place who I hope will get
it in by Tues. and installed before I have to do bread and roll making and baking by the 24th. They couldn't match the 999 price, but, did take off 100. I've got to have one so paid it.

I had a convection wall oven in my first home back in 1987. It had been in that home for a few years, so that's been around for a while.
local appliance stores do offer better service than the big box stores. Hope you get your new install soon.

I feel your pain. My oven and stove has been acting up for over a year now.
It is a double oven model. If I use the bottom/ large oven for about an hour or longer, tht causes my burners not to heat up. But, that is not the worse...my stove beeps and the lights on the key pad blink error messages. it beeps for hours or until my DH pulls the breaker.
The oven also turns itself off while cooking and baking. I have to stand there and keep an eye on it.
I had a difficult time last Thanksgiving and again last Easter. The mother board has gone out. The part is not made anymore. I can get a used mother board for $1200. No thanks.
I went shopping for a new one...was promised delivery in 2-3 weeks. It's been 2 weeks already and I am still waiting.
Today, we pulled the stove away from the wall and cleaned behind the range....it needed it.
I hope my delivery is soon. The one I have now is driving me nuts, but thankfully, the upper small oven works okay.
I hope you like your new oven. I remember you posting pictures of those yummy rolls.

I'm going on 3 months waiting for the stove I ordered from a local, family-owned appliance store. It is a special order item, so I'll be happy if it arrives and is installed by Christmas. The business is known for its expert service/installation department.
Edited to add that the stove is being made in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Better get big ticket items before we get a tariff on imports, which will raise prices on appliances and thousands of other things.

@Kachina624 Probably will depend a lot on where they are being made. Might even the playing field for some appliances. . .

@Kachina624 Most GE appliances are made in the USA. My new stove is made in Kentucky.
I buy made in America if possible.

@Sooner. We've been paying the tariff on Chinese-made clothing for about 8 years. Raises the price about 15 %, always passed on to consumer.

Mine stopped working a few years ago & got a GE too but with bells & whistles. Never use the oven though, just the stovetop so really didn't need fancy.
Never use it as I use my Oster french door counter oven daily.
