Part of the fun of watermelon is that vibrant pink/red combined with the bright green.  It stimulates two of the senses.  Woman LOL

I finally googled this because I wanted to see what they look like.  I assumed that they probably looked different on the outside but was surprised to see that they look the same on the outside.
