Would like some opinions on this

My friend is coming for Christmas dinner as she and her family have for years. So today, she called and wanted to know what she could bring. Before I could answer, she announced that she was bringing a ham. I am making turkey with all of the fixings which she already knew. My family doesn't eat ham, so I guess she is bringing it for her family. Do you think that this is a little rude?
