IMO, it's a needless item. What's wrong with using a saucepan on the stove?
The ONLY time I think it might be handy is when making a family feast and something needs to be kept warm while all the other burners are being used. Even so, we've all managed that so far.

Didn't watch the presentation but it might be useful for a college dorm. Otherwise, don't see a need.

It's no more than an electric skillet..
He annoys me with his constant "add ons". Sounds like a car salesman.

Do not want or need it, I even got rid of the crock pot after our reno. we now have an airfryer built into our oven, which works great

I love Curtis Stone dura cookware- It's Just superior, light, durable, reasonably priced- BUT, agree with most of you, I have no need for this! I'd be afraid it would mark up the countertop, table or any surface! Hope you love it if you get it!

I bought this a year or so ago, we use it often, usually when in the motorhome. If we are in transit I do not turn on the propane so we are on electric power, this is really a help when we are doing that or when we are moving.

I love it @Renata22 . I can definitely use it. I already have 2 very large electric skillets so I like this smaller version. I use them quite often. I agree with @We rescue cats , great if you don't want to use the gas stove.
Although I have a 5 burner stove, many times the pots/skillets used take up too much space so having this small one will be a great option for me.
@JeanLouiseFinch And as far as "we've managed that so far"? Actually, I haven't done well. Either I have to keep food warm on the stove, a distance away from where the food is laid out, or the food gets cold before everyone is done serving and eating.
I will also use this in my 4th graders cooking class. This December we will be making reindeer sloppy joes and when dividing the children up this additional skillet will make it run smoother. I will now have 4 skillets going instead of 3 which puts the groups into 7 students instead of 10 per group. It really makes a difference.
I love almost all Curtis Stone items so I am excited about this and enjoy his add-ons @Jo1313 . Doesn't bother me a bit.
