Re: Wolfgang and Temptations baking dishes

Watching Wolfgang and he did just say the entire "s"  word without censors and 15 seconds later, the censors cut in.  Also he is showing his Pressure Cooker Oven TSV and demo-ing with Cranberry Temptation baking dishes.  What's up with that?  Is Tara going over there, or is WP just using the dishes as a tease?  Makes me wonder.

@BlingQueen022 - a bunch of us own that little rice cooker. It's been a TS several times at the price you just paid.

If you get a chance do a search in the forum for the older threads. Lots of recipes shared & helpful hints on usage. Enjoy!

The cookbook is really good & highly recommended

Well,  I swore I wasn't going to buy any more kitchen gadgets, but you talked me into it.  I did order the rice cooker and also the cookbook.  I lost my husband a little over a year ago and just can't seem to find any joy in cooking for one person.  The frozen meals are getting old and I get tired of leftovers.  You make it sound like this little cooker will make cooking smaller amounts so easy. Someone mentioned some of the older forums have some recipes also, so I will have to check that out.  I hope I will enjoy this little gem as much as you.  At least it will have a smaller footprint and won't take up too much shelf space.

@Gizmp I so hope you are happy with the WP rice cooker.  I cannot tell you how much I love mine and I'm not sure but if you purchased the cookbook that is recommended it is hands down the best purchase I have ever made.

I too am now by myself (my sympathies on the loss of your husband) and I fully understand trying to scale down recipes for one and leftovers are just not appetizing after a couple of days so hopefully this cooker will do the trick.  I know I just love mine!

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, @Gizmp .  I'm sure preparing meals has just not been at the top on your agenda.  This little gadget with the product-specific cookbook may be just what you need to get you looking forward to some tasty meals again!  One of my favorite things about the Portable RC is leftovers are a thing of the past...unless I want them!Woman Happy  Marian's outdone herself with this book...enticing pictures with each recipe.  They're easy to prepare, tasty...and the cleanup is practically non-existent!  I use mine nearly every day and sometimes more than once a day.  You'll be able to use it every meal, if you choose...and the desserts...Yes, those, too... are portion controlled so sweets don't get out of control!Woman Wink  If you wish to peruse some additional information and recipes, just search on WP Portable Rice Cooker.  There are a few threads from which to glean.  The footprint is small and inobtrusive.  Mine has a place of honor right on my countertop! Woman LOL Good luck with yours, and please let us know your thoughts once you receive it.

Re: Wolfgang and Temptations baking dishes

Yesterday (late morning) he said it twice within 30 seconds when describing plastic bowls that discolor and stain. I break down and laugh when he says things like that because he is not trying to be malicious. Rather, he says what most of us would say if alone or around friends. The guy is a riot for his commentary.

I too noticed the floral lace baker. I thought maybe it was just because they needed smaller bakers for the smaller oven.
