Nikaletti & HonnyBrown, just thought I would mention a battery operated wine cork puller. We have a Waring Pro that we've had for 5 plus years and it's still working great. No hand motion is required as the unit, on the touch of a button, lowers the corkscrew into the cork and pulls it from the bottle. Couldn't be easier. We got our's at Costco and I see it's available on Amazon. There are also Oster ones that are cheaper with good reviews. We don't use ours for weeks but it's in the charger ready to be used.

Thank you very kindly for telling me about that. I am going to check on Amazon. That is so sweet of you.

Hi Adelh! Those are Maryland wineries. Maryland doesn't have good wines.

A wine club outside of Maryland is not allowed to delivery here.

ummmm what? there are a number of wonderful wineries in maryland.....and YES we do produce some good wines!

I love reds but unfortunately cannot drink them anymore.

Currently I like Barefoot Chardonnay for an everyday wine.

Other favorites are Columbia Crest, Red Diamond, and Chateau St. Michelle.

I'm not good with pairing. It's very complex. I only do it when I take a class or when a waiter recommends something at a restaurant.

Left to my own devices, I will drink a merlot with salmon or a chard with beef stew! Not because I don't know what I'm doing, but because I drink what I enjoy.

Me too! I just enjoy the taste of rich red wines, especially Cabernet Sauvignon. Cheers!!!

Me too! Give me a thick Cab that I can chew!! With Steak, Chix or fish!! Coppola diamond Claret & Jack London Cab come to mind Smiley Happy.

Golden, I saw that, but I didn't know what it was! I got too involved in the details of the wine club to explore it.

Oh, I'm so sorry!

I found out about the Rabbit when I broke my arm. I would put a bottle between my knees to hold it steady, and use the Rabbit with my right hand.

Great suggestion! I go through these too quickly {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

The motor will burn out or the cork will get off sync and I'll have to twist it like a corkscrew. You're doing well to have one for 5 years and counting!
