I recently saw Rex Goliath somewhere. I will have to give the chard a test run.

My New Years' Resolution in 2014 was to try a new chardonnay every time I buy a case, which is once a month or so. I'm up to the Gs and found Cloud Break, Dark Horse and Gumdale this way.

Try J Lohr Chardonnay. Oaky, buttery and about $10 per bottle!

I went to get a case of Low Hanging Fruit chardonnay and also needed a red for a Coq au Vin dish I'm making tonight.

I picked up Columbia Crest Grand Estates Cabernet.

I can't wait to try it!

Someone at the farmers' market (a customer, not a vendor) gave me a bottle of homemade wine on Sunday. That was really sweet of her for thinking of me!

I haven't opened the wine yet. When do I give her a thank you card? When I open it or right away?

I just started drinking wine about 3 yrs ago. I do not like the vinegar tasting wines and i like the sweeter ones.

I have found St. Michelle, Pacific Rim, My favorite is Sweet Walter, red,white or rose'.

I like love wine. I admit I drink it frequently. My husband and I have traveled through many of the wine regions of France...Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Alsace, Provence, Loire, and Cognac for their brandy. We've taken countless tours, had many tastings, and they were all as marvelous as anyone could imagine.
