As for hsn - 99.999% of the time they don't have anything I want, so I haven't been there lately - even for free shipping!
Oh my goodness......I have missed something, as I know about his problems as a puppy, but not in the loop of the goings on NOW.......Poor baby, WHAT operation is on the line, and what is going on???? Is this on the pet forum, or what is up, and where do I need to go to find out........Oh just now worried........
Poor dude!
This is a pulled ligament thing. He's been on - no walks, no running or jumping, as much rest as possible, etc, for a few months now and into or through the winter. The doc said if it doesn't completely heal it could turn into a TORN ligament and that's not good. It would be a $6,000 operation, he said. ouch to the boy and ouch to us!

Oh.....the poor BABY.......and poor you......I know how that is, as my Little Savannah (at Rainbow Bridge), ended up tearing both her ACL's, and ended up costing me over $40,000, and was a mutt puppy, but my baby none the less ( I own part of Auburn Small Animal Hospital), and I had her for 14.5 years of productive life, until it just became too much, and I refused any further treatment, as I knew the end.....I know this is F&K, but what all have you tried.....as not only another furbaby friend, but also a nurse...Maybe I can tell you what I tried and worked.....
I had Savannah on only 3 leash moments for only five minutes for a while, and I bought her a "condo" that she stayed in for a while, until she healed......Rough, I understand......
