Whole Foods and Bad Expiration Dates on their Food!!

Has anyone else seen this at their local Whole Foods Market? I visit there a few times a week and now it is just routine to see cans of organic soup on the shelves with expired use dates. I was looking specifically for reduced sodium split pea and among the expired cans was able to find a can that didn't expire until April 2012 but when I opened it up, it came out in one piece....not good as these don't require adding water! I called the 800 number on the can and was told to discard it.

I also grabbed a bag of chips but didn't notice until I got to the checkout stand that it expired in October.
