I'm ashamed to admit I've never heard of her.  Food Network star?  Contest Winner?  I don't watch many food shows nowdays, except David, of course.

@depglass  Do an internet search. I first saw her on an episode of Top Chef years ago and on other shows. I generally like her. She's been on a lot of food shows but I would think of buying stuff endorsed by her  or any other "celebrity", mainly Geoffrey Zakarian as he's a pompous jerk and his stuff is over priced.

I used to watch her on the talk show, The Chew.

@depglass  She's been around the Food Network for years. I also saw her on Next Food Network Star. She has also been on Halloween Baking Championship. Here's one of her more creepy get-ups:

If you check out her bio, however, you will find that she has an accounting degree, worked at Price Waterhouse, and was a runway model before she became a chef. I really liked watching her on QVC!

I so enjoyed her on the Chew and was so sad when ABC cancelled that show. Carla, Michael Symon, Mario Batali, Daphne Oz were the chefs, Clinton Kelly tried to keep things in line.....LOL!! She was a judge on Top Chef and I think she has a restaurant in Brooklyn (if it remained open after Covid).

@depglass   No ... that is Hell's Kitchen.  I agree with you on that.

TOP CHEF is on tonight,  I believe on BRAVO.  It's with Tom Colicchio and Padma Lakshmi as the main hosts.   The chefs compete in several contests each show and one person goes home at the end based on the views of 4 judges.  The chefs are from all over the world.  It's a great show.
