Who Eats All Of The Food QVC and HSN Cooks?

I once asked Mary Beth that question on her Blog and she said that most of the food is uneatable because it sits under the hot lights. She never really said who eats the rest of it. Does anyone know who eats all of that food. I can understand that the food that sits out for the demonstration is probably not eatable, but there is some that would be eatable.
