White kitchen cabinets

I am finally getting to redo my 60's kitchen!!!!! I thought I always wanted white cabinets with the bead board look but was just at the design place and they had a cream with glaze look. I think I like that......any suggestions!! Are white cabinets terrible to keep clean (adult children and no grandkids yet - plus they won't live in my town). I wish I could decide what I want. I like both looks.
