@SharkE

I was in one of the Walmarts close to me the other day and was really surprised to see that they now carry several different White Lily flours.  One was the bread flour and I bought a bag.  I have never seen White Lily in my Walmart, but this Walmart is not the one I go to on a regular basis.

I thought of you as I think you have mentioned using it and liking it.  It will be a bit before I use it as I have about a half bag of my previous bread flour to use up.

Lucky you ! That is the best flour.

I'm using King Arthur. 2nd best.

Gold Medal is 'buggy'. LOL

Still making bread and rolls and my name is up for the Thanksg. church meal in couple of weeks.

Since I went sugar free about the only thing I still make now.  Just eating sugar free cookies, jello, etc.

Gives me my sugar kick LOL  A1C went from 5.9 to

5.1 though. Don't want to be a diabetic !

Keep an eye out at your Walmart because they may be adding it.

I am in Illinois.

I've been using Acme's Signature Select Bread Flour at $2.99 for five pounds (typically, $2.69 on sale as I type this), and it's been very good for the breads I make. If you have an Acme nearby, it's worth giving it a try. I'm pretty sure they're having one of the bigger flour producers making/packaging their flours, but so far, so good, and a nice price point.

I live at high altitude and nothing is better than King Arthur.  Enjoy your find.

@gardenman

No Acme stores here in my area, but I would try their flour if I did.

Walmart here has good prices and in-stock on some KA organic flours, but the White Lily is expensive and involved shipping.  But I have some on order.

I mean really how often would we have biscuits? Cheaper than a trip to South Carolina!
