Re: Which Dishes Do You Want In Cold Weather???

Pretty much most of what has been mentioned here so far! Definitely pasta dishes; lasagne, spaghetti & meatballs, Mac & cheese. Followed up by potatoes as side dish to burgers, meatloaf, pot roast, chicken, turkey, fish!! Don't get me started on sweets/desserts! Do like muffins & quick breads.

For the one "week" we have "winter temps" 🥶(FL temps were 50 this week) I make my fav comfort food.  This week I made my fav stuffed cabbage, meatloaf -- enjoyed the leftovers all week🙂 (and put some in freezer- yummm)

During the Winter months I tend to cook more hearty meals. Stews, soups, chowders, Meat and potatoes. Dishes that will warm the insides and give you a full meal feeling after you eat them.

@homedecor1 They look so good! I have to make some this coming week or next.

I have two questions. When you made your galumpkis, do you put rice in the meat for the stuffing?

And #2, do you use tomato juice to cook them? Or Hunt Sauce. Or maybe even a very plain jar spaghetti sauce.

Thanks.

I tend to want more soups in the winter but I eat most things regardless of the season.

So long as it's something hot I'm good. Homemade soup plus more soup is my choice.
