Just got back from the grocer, chicken noodle soup will be cooking in my kitchen tomorrow in preparation for the next winter round this weekend, temps in the 30s/40s. Hoping this is our last winter weather, we usually only get cold in January and February. Had pot roast this weekend for our first round and it sure was good.

Still waiting for cold weather here in So Fl but made chicken soup with noodles and matzah balls last night.

 Lots of casseroles, stews, soups and roasts in the crockpot! Since chicken has been hard to find, pork chops, pork roast and tenderloin have been my replacement.

@ECBG  Pork chops and Bisquick dumplings with sauerkraut. Beef stew, homemade chicken soup with tortellini and fresh spinach, meatloaf. Roasted chicken with potatoes, onion and carrots. 

A warm, homemade banana bread on a cold day is nice too. Lots of real butter.

Central Florida will stay in the 60s today with rain! 

I have chicken chili thawing for today.  Love stews and soups!

I would have to say definitely soups. There are great in the winter.

Be advised, I can eat all of the above in sweltering weather as well.
