Several weeks ago, I was reading on this forum a topic about where Corning Ware is made. I was curious because I love my old Corning Ware (most of it was shower and wedding gifts given to hubby and I in 1974), and I was unhappy to hear it is now made in China. Fortunately, that is not the complete truth.
I wrote to customer service at World Kitchen (on November 26th) and finally received the answer posted below:
Thank you for contacting World Kitchen, LLC
In regard to your inquiry it depends on what line of Corningware you are speaking about:
French White: China
Simply Lite: Corning, NY, USA
Stovetop/Pyroceram: France
For further assistance, please contact our Consumer Care Center at 800-999-3436. Representatives are available from 8am to 6pm Monday through Thursday and 8am to 5pm on Friday, EST, and will be more than happy to assist you.
Sincerely,
Christopher
World Kitchen Consumer Care Center
