Re: Whats cooking this march?

Sunday night--I made a meatball recipe that I mentioned here before--Korean BBQ meatballs. Made using gojuchang paste---you put some in the meat mixture then make a wondeful sauce to go over top. It calls for gr beef. I've made it with the beef and with gr turkey--both wonderful. Last night I used gr pork and that was very good. DD is sick with RSV and was not eating much--so needed to feed her--we had the meat and had some brown rice leftover, a huge fresh green salad and fresh strawberries and bananas. Not sure if I tried gr chicken for this recipe---but it is a really easy, kind of spicy--we love that--meal.

@Shihtzursqmom

I looked for the frozen Texas Roadhouse rolls at IGA yesterday and all I found was the Rhodes frozen roll dough Texas size, which I've bought several times and is great.

Re: Whats cooking this march?

We made tacos this evening, and refried beans.

Very enjoyable, with tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, avacado, and salsa.

Re: Whats cooking this march?

Here we go again.

We have rain in the forecast everyday for the rest of the week.  Our first severe thunderstorm watch was just

issued for today until 5:00PM.

Yesterday's fast was so easy.  I'm still not hungry so we may delay lunch a little bit.  I've made such a poor choice for lunch today 🤦‍♀️.  I had a pack of Vienna Beef hotdogs in the fridge that I picked up in case the grandkids wanted them.  The other day I laid them out on parchment paper to freeze separately and store in a ziploc.  Well, I kept some out for DH and I to have today.   I'll run a knife down the center and stuff a little cheese inside, then either air fry or stick them in the oven.  I'll have some raw mini peppers, celery sticks, and a few blueberries and strawberries on the side, and finish with a zero sugar yogurt.
