Re: Whats cooking in september?

The favorite pizza topping thread gave me a craving for white pizza.  So DH and I ordered one last night with spinach, tomato and onion.  It was so good.

  1. Good morning everyone. Today cloudy in the 60s and showers. Yestauday I. For breakfast and lunch the last of zucchini flowers and cauliflower fried and last night I didn't cook had leftovers because we all had a 5 oclock hair appointment so it was easy to just reheat dinner and fruit. Have a great day everyone.

It's a busy day here - the start of many over the next several weeks.  My remade dental crown was finally delivered and I'll be leaving shortly for my appointment to get it put on.  I'm skipping lunch since I'll probably still be numb.  Our Forrester is getting some scheduled maintenance done this afternoon.  DH has been making a list of things about the Outback that need to be addressed so he'll bringing that car in at the same time.  We'll probably be in the dealership lounge for a couple of hours.  When we're done there, we have an assortment of errands - Menards, Costco, Sam's. We'll likely get something to eat while we're out.

Re: Whats cooking in september?

My dental appointment went smoothly and quickly.  I wish I could say the same about the cars.  đꫤ   Since our Forester was our first Subaru we didn't know what to expect with the scheduled maintenance.  We were shocked at the cost - $$$!  Then we added on a brake job.  At. The end of the month we'll replace the tires.  Fortunately all the stuff on the Outback was covered.  Since the Forester needed software updates (part of the scheduled maintenance) it was going to take several hours.  The dealership gave us a loaner, a brand new Outback with only 2 miles on it.  The cars are ready for pick up but we can't get back up there until tomorrow morning.

The installer for the front house doors just arrived and is getting his gear set up. Without jinxing anything, he hopes to be done around noon. 🤞

DS and the kids will be here later.  I thawed chicken wings yesterday, prepped them last night, and they're drying out in the fridge.  It's always a bit of work, but worth it. I'll make homemade buffalo sauce for them but leave some plain for the kids.

Dinner -

Wings

Steamed Broccoli

Celery w/Chunky Bleu Cheese Dressing

My cleaning Lady brought me meatloaf today!

Love me a cold meatloaf sandwich with ketchup!  Baked squash on the side!
