Pot Roast is in the oven right now. Smells yummy in here. I'm going to make some chicken noodle soup in a few days. It's finally going to get cold here.

My dad used to eat Collard greens, cabbage & I can't remember what on New Years. We never have done that.

Happy New Year 2025, Friends!

I actually made it to midnight!  DH is still sleeping but will probably come down soon.  It's another college football marathon for him today.  I'll keep myself busy.  The weather is turning quite chilly; 28*, but feels like 11* with the windchill factor.

Restarting OMAD today.  I have a grassfed NY strip steak thawing.

Lunch today:

1/2 Steak & Eggs

Sauteed Mushrooms

Avocado Slices

Roasted Broccoli

Stay warm!

Happy New Year! Lots of yummy food here this morning!

Headed out to brunch with friends. I love brunch and it will hold me until dinner. We'll have grilled steaks, twice baked potatoes, steamed broccoli and tossed salad.

Enjoy the day and thank you @Pooky1 for starting us out. I almost forgot that the new month's thread would be posted today but you are always on your toes. I hope Ria is doing better today.

Re: Whats cooking in january?

Good evening and happy new years to all of you wonderful friends. Hellie jo those are great movies. We have watched them many times over the years.the odd couple movie they did together was really good too. It poured through the night and tomorrow where expecting very high winds. My mil cooked dinner today. She made lentils with potatoes, carrots as a thick soup. Plus roasted red peppers, a ham, fried artichokes, and more artichokes cook in a spicy sauce , Italian ham and provolone cheese, roasted potatoes, fruit and she made a cheesecake. Tonight were just going to have a sandwich. Me Italian ham and provolone and ria wants a half a peanut butter sandwich. Leftovers for the next 2 days. We have alot of leftovers in the fridge to eat.have a great years everyone.
