Whats cooking for the new year in january 2021?

Good morning everyone and happy new year to everyone. Hopefully this will be a much better year then 2020 was. So far it's bright and sunny. Yesterday for breakfast I made scrambled eggs,bacon, cinnamon raisin toast. For lunch ria made something simple but very good. Pasta and chick peas. Grated cheese,butter,heavy creme and a little salt that it. Last night we always do picky stuff for new years . mozzarella sticks,potato skins, and fats also made a fresh tomato pizza. I ordered on Amazon a dress for our dog coco on December 3rd. For Christmas day to wear.it just came in yesterday so she has it on today. Hope everyone has a safe happy new year. And we all eat well.

My oldest DD was supposed to move from our home to Washington DC to start her career on December 31 but her bed was delivered early so her dad drove her down to DC on Wednesday the 30 to move into her apartment. We were supposed to have a special family dinner on the 30th including roast rolled ribeye, Yorkshire pudding, potatoes and brussels spouts but since DD moved that day we have postponed that meal for today minus the Yorkshire pudding as DD was supposed to make that.

We had blackeyed peas with ham, pork loin with gravy and rice, corn, cornbread, & rice dressing. I forgot to cook the cabbage, so today we will warm everything and I'll cook the cabbage.

Good evening everyone. A snow shower this morning then it went sunny. That's the kind of snow that's dealable. Today I told ria just leave me the recipe and I will cook. So she didn't have to cook right before she had to be at work for 815 am. I made pesto pasta with ground hamburger and red peppers. I also made coconut cream pie. Bean dip and for ria Lipton veggie soup mix. Mixed in whipped cream cheese. And then I grated a block of parmesan cheese. Since then our dishwasher in running for the second time. Hope everyone has a great night.
