A good bottle of wine. If she doesn't drink alcohol, she can use it in cooking or for guests. Go to a known, good wine or liquor store and ask them to help you choose something nice within your budget.

My daughter got me a wonderful set of All Clad measuring cups and measuring spoons that I love even though I had other measuring sets. I now use these all the time. She also got me some really great rubber spatulas from WS and they are just the best quality. No chef can have too many spatulas.

Do you remember the name of the Tea Room? A gift certificate for tea or a tea set would be nice. Just remember that Chef's have lives outside of the kitchen. While food is their passion, they do have other interests that others won't think about. Those special details would make her gift extra special knowing that you took the time to actually get to know her.

I loved this idea since her and I both like tea and had a discussion last Sunday about Teas and which ones I might try. She told me about two Teas to try and she told me I should try that place. after I read your post I had like 40 minutes and I got there and bought her a Gift Card from there. I also bought her a cup that says "Follow your Heart" and I found some Short Bread Cookies that go with Tea and Coffee. I bought her a small container of Orange Spice Tea. Follow all these items with a Card I bought for her. Thank each and everyone of you for the wonderful ideas.
