Last night I had a piece of Lasagna made with Palmini sheets instead of pasta.  Tonight I'm planning to have a burrito.

@shoptilyadropagain  👏.  Have you ever tried Crepini Wraps as a pasta replacement in lasagna?  I get them at Costco and like them very much.

I think I had heard about those wraps quite awhile ago but forgot all about them.  I'll have to try them for lasagne.  Hopefully, other places carry them besides Costco because I'm not a member and the closest one is an hour away.  The palmini sheets were fine.  They didn't alter the taste of my lasagna but but the texture is a little grainy or sandy.  I'd use them again though.

I've seen them at Aldi, if you have one of them nearby. There's just fewer in the package compared to Costco. Just make sure you get the plain and not the cinnamon. 😳

@JeanLouiseFinch   Thanks so much for that info.  We do have an Aldi's close by so I'll check there the next time I'm in that area.

Kirkland brand hot dogs, beans & my homemade potato salad. Brownies and ice cream for dessert. It is a beautiful day, except for the 80°temps & humidity so we will eat outdoors.

Have a fun weekend!

We have a bit of a cool down here. Now that 80° temps & high humidity are gone I am making a pot roast. Adding carrots, onions, sweet potatoes. Thinking about what to bake for dessert as this may be one of the last days to use the oven before the heat returns.

Next week in our 10 day forecast we will have a cool down to the mid 80º temp.  It has been pushing upper 90's for a couple of weeks now.  Still made pizza and oatmeal scotchies over the weekend but the oven did make it warmer.  Too hot for only the first of May.

Cool temps again!! I love this kind of weather. Tonight we'll dine on tossed salad, garlic bread, meatballs & spaghetti in delicious sauce.

Not culturally correct? Who cares? If you and your family likes the combination, it's correct.
