Re: What's for dinner tonight?

We had a crockpot pork loin roast with potatoes, carrots and green beans with a little chicken broth for the liquid for dinner last night.  DH is making pulled pork with the leftovers for tonight's sandwiches.

We still have the leftover vegetables to go along with.

Re: What's for dinner tonight?

Homemade pizza, fresh garlic bread and a salad.  Wash it all down with Chianti.  All I need is a red checkered tablecloth.  Lol.   🍕🍞🍅🍷

@ECBG  What a great tradition with your grandson.

Having taco spiced chicken over a salad tonight. BLTs tomorrow night.  Steak on Friday night. I'm a planner.

@Enufstuff

I grew up loving meatloaf.

The loaf was in a 9 x 13 for about 1/2 hr on 350 to melt some fat off.

Then mushroom soup, fresh chopped mushrooms, and garlic were poured over the meatloaf and basted until it was done.

DS went to a friend's house where they had meatloaf in a loaf pan with catsup on top.

He thought that meatloaf strange.

Re: What's for dinner tonight?

@ECBG  I make meatloaf in a loaf pan and top it with Hunt's

               tomato sauce, like my mother did.  One time, I didn't

               have any tomato sauce and used catsup. I did not care

               for the catsup; too much sugar.
