It is cool and rainy, dreary in Pittsburgh today. I just put pork chops and sauerkraut in the crockpot for dinner. I'll add a couple hot dogs for DH - and I'll make some mashed potatoes. We have spice cookies for dessert.

Making marinated skirt steaks on the grill. Baked potato and corn on the cob for sides. Nothing special about the dinner except for the marinade on the steaks. Using a recipe a friend shared with me some 30 years ago and, so far, never found one I like better.

I'm going to make a ground turkey stir fry. That's my lazy dish for days when I don't feel like cooking.

My husband stays in the city most Thursdays so it's just the dog and me.

Dinner will be Talenti's Caribbean Coconut gelato.

Pork tenderloin, scalloped potatoes, fresh tomatoes from father-in-law's garden, and jalapeño cheddar bread from a baker at the farmer's market! Yum!

I roasted a beef eye round yesterday when it was cool temperature....today is humid so I am thin slicing the beef , which is very rare, sautéing some Chinese veggies throwing in the beef and making a sauce....beef stir fry with white rice and Hannahmax cookie chips and ice cream for desert.
