It's Friday night date night for me and my dh! For the past 45 years we've always gone out to dinner on Fridays. It still feels like a date too! HeartHeart

@MOMMAVik : So frustrated finding needed ingredients and end up cooking same stuff. Tonight making whole wheat bread in the bread machine. Homemade tuna salad to make sandwiches and some type of fruit salad with can fruits- prefer fresh fruit but using what's in the pantry. Southern Bee

Re: What's For Dinner Tonight?

@SouthernBee, your meal sounds good ... I love tuna salad. Even if I plan out some meals I am finding myself needing to make substitutions for several ingredients when I get to the grocery. Not too bad to sub for brands but whole meals, forget it. Yes, here too make lots of repeats. Spaghetti with meat sauce & freeze some meat sauce for lasagna another day. Some sort of chicken dish(es) too. After 45+ years cooking, I welcome take out or going out! Enjoy your evening!
