Thank you for the tutorial re: editing. I printed it out so that I know for next time. I'm such a newbie and need all the help that I can get!
Mousie, I found the recipe on Allrecipes.com. It's called DB's Caramel Popcorn Bacon Mix. Sorry, but I don't know if it will be legible if I cut and paste it. Let me tell you how I changed it when I made it. I bought all of these ingrediants at Aldi.
- Sweet & Salty Popcorn rather than popping my own
- used rice cereal rather than 1/2 rice and 1/2 wheat squares
- cashews rather than peanuts
- mini pretzels instead of sticks
These were just my preferences. Besides, Aldi had the bagged popcorn which saved me some time. The recipe is a little labor intensive, but I thought it was worth it.
@PartDeux Thank you. This looks good.. I thought it was just caramel popcorn, nuts, and bacon. I can try this without the mix and with it.

I had I do not know what exactly for dinner and it was really good!!!! From time to time I clean out my freezer with partial containers of food - toss it in ithe WOK and cook away. ALWAYS comes out good. I even added a dry dressing - it was Ranch - and really good. . As best I can remember there were a few meatballs, corn, carrots, turnip greens. chopped fresh potatoes and something else - I know, some onions. Very very good!!! I never have had this fail - the veggies often vary - just depends on what is hanging around.
Am really tired - another hot night - supposedly it will be cooler tomorrow. We shall see.

Hope one and all had a great day.

Last night I made some guacamole, added it to brown rice, shrimp, corn, black beans, and hot salsa-it was very good. It's such a beautiful day but I just feel like staying in with a good book. Have a good day everyone.

I made this awesome breakfast. for my husband. Most of a pint of fresh blueberries and 3/4ths of a banana in a blender.( It came out the consistency of soft ice cream.) I put it in a bowl and topped it of with gluten-free granola, then added some sliced bananas and whole blueberries. I made another one for myself without the banana, YUM!

Wow, everyone's meals sound so delicious! You inspire me! Unfortunately though I've been working much more than usual, so I've been going to quick meals to get by. Last night was ham steak, perogies and asparagus for my family, salad for me. Tonight homemade meatballs from the freezer with spaghetti and salad. Tomorrow hubby cooks.
Today is another beautiful day in the NE. Makes me happy : )
Enjoy your day everyone!

Got off easy tonight - worked out great for me. A neighbor brought over barbecued ribs, roast ed corn, mac and cheese and a salad. Now eating that good food and NOT having to prepare it. Yes indeed.
COLD last night - the little girl and I both froze later on - not at bedtime however and she decided that once again she was NOT going to sleep when she was suppose to - and she didn't.
Would love to be asleep now but no such luck. This little one is filthy so must have a bath - well me too I guess. LOL.

Pooky that food sounds mighty good to me. This little stinker just pulled on my oxygen hose - I need to explain a few things to her. She is rolling right now so am thinking I should go and escort her into the living room where it is a bit safer. Hmn, she is on a tear - just tried to bite me - she got that from her big brother. I NEVER had to deal with hitting, biting, etc and I know many, if not most, do. I have been lucky but this generation is so very different.. She needs a fast nap before bed time for sure but a bit late for that. Will go hug her and see if I can find out what prompted that - sometimes that actually is possible. I do worry about things like that also.
Hope all had a great day.

No great kitchen story tonight. Spent a lot of my tie running around. Why is it when I go to the grocery store for ONE OR TWO THINGS, I come hoe after spending close to $100 - someties more - and have really nothing to show for it. Prices have just skyrocketed out here at least.
Getting a bit cool now and I am loving it - sun is down, nice breeze and OUR NORMAL JUNE WEATHER. Yeah!!!
I did eat a popsicle tonight however if anyone is interested!
my m is sticking on y keyboard so I may be inventing another language.

@Winifred LOL re keyboard. I know what you mean about food prices. I went shopping for groceries yesterday and the total came to a little over $200, which shocked me. When meat and seafood are bought, the bill shoots way up. DH went to Lucky last night, and the total was $90, and he hardly bought anything. Now, I am holding off going to Costco as that bill is always high, much higher than it used to be, but at least there is months and months of supplies since everything is bulk.
