Re: What's Cooking in April (no fooling)

Glad to see you Soushi - guess it will take a bit of time getting re-oriented to home. LOL. Prayers as always for Nelson - do hope he made the trip back just fine.

We are having rain - we always need it - after three scorching days - highest it got was 93 but it was wicked. Now we are freezing. Well, it is not literally freezing but it IS cold!!!!

Have a ton of leftovers in the fridge - may be able to use them up for dinner so I will not be doing any great cooking. Only time will tell about that.

I agree with Soushi, glad to see everyone stop by but please stop by again. We love to have people give us their ideas on what they are cooking - I have picked up some great eating ideas from this thread. Keep a coming everyone!

Have a great day.

Re: What's Cooking in April (no fooling)

Morning, weather is crazy again, rain/snow mix, will have to get out to the store as tonite is martini's & pizza nite, I need some appetizer stuff, but no cooking hah!

@Soushi24, glad you made it back home ok, not happy to hear about the water problem, hope it wasn't too much of a mess.  Nelson has been in my prayers & hopefully will improve now that you're home.

Take Care

Re: What's Cooking in April (no fooling)

Afternoon all,

Heading out to have our taxes figured. I rate that right up there with going to the dentist.

Dinner was cheese broccoli soup with pecan ice cream/fresh strawberries.

We had sun shine, followed by rain, then snow, And then it keep cycling, with all three happening over and over again yesterday. Weird!

Windy, cloudy, and very cool with occasional snow flurries here today. I miss Florida!

Best to all, enjoy the day.

ps, thank you for those prayers. He is having a tough time.

Re: What's Cooking in April (no fooling)

Good Morning one and all. Last night I had fried eggplant - love that veggie. Also heated up the leftover roast and fried cabbage - wanted to get that food eaten also. Ready to strangle Davey, he ate ALL the roast meat and there was none left for anyone else. Tried to explain to him that ain't the way to do it. I had it also as others ate the eggplant but were not overly fond of it so they had something else. Also must add, Davey ate NO eggplant. His manners just get worse.

Rain continued through the night and suppose to continue thru Monday and then start again on Thursday. We can sure use it.

Also felt good about filling the feeders late yesterday afternoon when the rain slowed down for a while. Still got a tad wet and chilly.

Really sounds like you are back in the groove Soushi. Don't you just love doing taxes. Ugh.

Have a great day everyone. As usual Preds, always enjoy your greetings. Many, many thanks.

Food tonight:? Have no clue.

Re: What's Cooking in April (no fooling)

This is a very difficult message to leave for everyone. Soushi, a long time poster lost her husband Nelson last night. Please send her your prayers. Nelson was having some difficulties lately - they just returned from Florida a couple days ago. This is unbearably suden and sad.

Bev, we love you and return when you are up to it.
