They had them at cvs last week $3 a bottle. With extra bucks, they would come down to $1.50 each. The 30 oz bottle.

It's the price of butter that I can't figure out. It's hard to find 4 sticks under $3 and that's store brand.

I know if I saw a $9.00 charge on a jar of mayo, I seriously would have questioned that one.

I don't have the answer as to the high price of Hellman's, but I have noticed the exact same thing here in southern WV. Kroger had an outrageous price on this mayo recently, so I left it there, and later found it at my small hometown grocery store 2 for $6.

Dollar General is about 1/2 mile from my house, I could walk there!! When they run a special on Hellman's, 32 oz for $4.00. I stock up at that price.

Seems like we have used a lot of mayo this summer, due to all the Tomato sandwiches I have made.

$3 for the reg size Hellman's. Lately, when the mayo has been on special, it has not included any of the light varietues. Light is all I buy, so I have not had any for quite some time.

Our local Giant had a 30-ounce jar of Kraft Light on sale for 3.79 last night (and I had a 50-cent coupon that I doubled to $1.00). Giant had the 30-ounce Miracle Whip Light on sale, too, for 3.69 (and I had a 50-cent coupon that I doubled to $1.00). I was able to double both coupons because they were specific, one for Kraft Light and one for Miracle Whip. Last year, I remember buying them on sale at 2 for $5. I had coupons then, too, so I was able to stock up a bit.

I can't do it without coupons. And when the product is on sale, it makes it that much better.
