@monicakm,  it is not the lack of title or even recap at the video location, it is the lack of information about the video subject without necessitating going to the video location.

Not providing any information is, IMO, the equivalent of the teaser threads so frequently posted on these boards.

Title:  I found a great movie.

Body:  It can be found on YouTube, the title is _____.

Also, you may not be aware, I'm not sure, but this isn't an isolated issue. What you do is different with your video recs.

Perfume videos (your example) aren't as involved or controversial as  the videos being pushed by the OP (moreso the carnivore videos). And I think if people asked you about your videos you'd happily engage more....

Even when directly asked for it, no summary is provided. Instead, we’re simply told to watch the video or read the synopsis beneath it, with reminders that all YouTube videos include one.

A little uncooperative and lacking effort to be helpful....why? Kinda off-putting and sus...

While that may be true, I think everybody already knows a summary is available on YouTube but not everyone wants to go out of their way to track it down and read it....some will.

But, if you're  going out of your way to post about a video on a forum  and you want to be helpful and forth coming  (willing to share info, thoughts and feelings in a friendly and cooperative way.)

etc....why wouldn't you take the time to put it in your own words/explain your reason for posting even just briefly when asked? I don't get it....That's been one of my beefs, among others (to explain myself anyway)

Regular gas around here is $3.l3.  My car takes premium which is $3.52.  So no, gas prices are not cheap.
