for anything, not just groceries.
DH & I found this to be very informative...
Title of youtube video:
We had 400 people to shop for groceries. What we found will shock you.

How about a synopsis?
On another note - gas prices are now lower than they have been in 5 years.

@ThinkingOutLoud
If you just google the title, there is a great synopsis to read. Additionally, the majority of youtube videos have one underneath each video too. ![]()

@ThinkingOutLoud - it discusses Instacart and the way they charge shoppers based on algorithms even though they shop online from the same store with the same grocery list.
NOTE- The video is labeled as a FUNDRAISER for a group called More Perfect Union

I get the feeling some posters may be financially compensated for promoting all these YouTube videos.

I noticed this when my mother and I planned a trip together last year.
I wasn't welcome at Hampton Inn and was shown they had no rooms available. Sitting next to me with her iPad, my mother had her choice of rooms.
She is a wealthy boomer. I am a working class GenXer.
The discrimination is real and I almost, almost refused to go on the trip because I don't reward bad behavior. If not for her, I would have stayed home.
It's criminal and I wish we still had people who cared with the ability to stop it for the illegal nonsense it is. Catering to the wealthy and showing no room at the inn to someone whose credit card works just as well is wrong.
On the other hand, where are these cheap gas prices? I have not seen them yet.

For me the price for gas is irrelevant. I hardly drive anywhere.

@geezerette Lucky! Last I saw was $2.86 here.

No room at the inn, you say?
Where have I heard that before?
haha
Sorry, I couldn't resist.....
But really, I don't get why your mother was able to get a room but you weren't. Was she just able to pay more? Sorry, I'm slow sometimes, I think....
I just zeroed in on that particular line and found it funny/timely....
