Re: What am I missing? Twinkling mason jars?

4-hour timer? Why? The spheres have 6...and that's short enough.

Why just 4? Trading hours for days?

Not to my taste or my décor. Surprised they had these as a TSV. I hope everyone realizes how small they are.

Re: What am I missing? Twinkling mason jars?

One of my new year's resolutions was to cut way back on purchasing home decor items. As I write this there is a huge pile of knick-knacks sitting by the front door waiting to be taken to the resale shop (all things I just couldn't live without, by the way, lol)! Now when I go to HomeGoods and see something I like I ask myself if it will be sitting in that pile by the door a year from now.

If you like the TSV and decide to purchase them enjoy them! I don't really have an opinion on them (positive or negative). I just know I don't need any more stuff...

We already have about a half dozen of flameless candles scattered through the house. I bought some from QVC and some from Hobby Lobby and the ones from QVC are brighter and have a longer battery life. It's hard to see if some of the HL ones are even on. I have enough stuff on batteries, we don't want anymore.

Why would you be missing something? You either like pretty twinkling things or you don't.

You don't have to like EVERYTHING QVC offers.

Re: What am I missing? Twinkling mason jars?

It doesn't get dark here until really late so outside nighttime décor is a waste to me. However I bought a set to tuck into the bookcase, corners, whatever.

Local Michael's Crafts store has an endcap display of blue, green mason jars and a book full of mason jar décor projects.

I haven't ordered them and I'm not sure I will, but I think they're pretty and very different. I could see them used in indoor/outdoor entertaining, possibly in a screened-in porch, etc. I don't think you have to have a country or farmhouse decor necessarily.

I love mercury glass....but OLD mercury glass.

Somehow it doesn't seem to be compatible with mason jars, IMO.

I like the jars and purchased them. I like Valerie's designs for the most part but try to buy only what I truly love.

It's ok most of the posts are negative. I like to read comments which point out reasons not to buy. While I am not usually swayed if I like something, some points are food for thought.
