What Would You Serve With ---???

We're having friends over Saturday night for a very informal dinner. I'm serving beef stew (can that be anymore informal?) and was wondering what you all serve with it. We usually just have the stew because there's plenty of veggies in it, or sometimes rye bread and butter, but I wanted to serve something different. Any suggestions?
