I love hot spicy food and use a lot of hot sauce. The only one I've found with any kind of real heat is Tobasco Sauce. The other ones are too mild and a lot of them I just don't care for the flavor. Someone mentioned on a previous thread about hot sauces a year or so ago about Aardvark. I tried it and it was another that was just OK.

Yes, I have used citrus Ponzu to marinate shrimp or chicken then added the chili garlic sauce.
Thanks, I am going to look for this chili citrus Ponzu sauce !

@Sooner wrote:@silkyk That is good. I don't think of it as a hot sauce, LOL, but it is good!
Edit to correct this: Ours is NOT the chili version! I didn't know about it. Now I want some!!!!! Amazon has it and I'm glad you mentioned it!!! THANKS!
Yes Amazon is the ONLY place I've been able to find it lately. Nowhere locally. I LOVE this stuff and put it on almost everything. If you find it available and like it get a few backups. Perks everything up nicely.

My son loves Rosa's (hot) made in Albuquerque.

I'm too wimpy for hot, too. I usually have some La Victoria Mild on hand for when I make tacos. I put some of that in with the taco meat, along with the spices, during cooking and then some into the taco when I assemble it.
It's nice flavor but not at all hot, so it's perfect for this wimpy chicken! ![]()

I don't use hot sauce, But in the fridge at work Franks and the Sriracha(sp?) with the Rooster on it Keep being replaced when empty. So, there's some votes for those.

High River sauces. The best! You can find them on their web site and amazon. It is a small company located on Long Island.

Frank's has always been my go to hot sauce until I ordered the DC Mambo sauce now it is my favorite. Don't get me wrong cause Frank's still has it's place in my kitchen.
