I'm not really picky, I like the old school brands that aren't very hot, and avoid the newer ones with silly labels. I have tried a number of them and was disappointed so for me:
I am not a real fan of Cholula (any of theirs) or Texas Pete however.
I use it on tuna, sardines, crackers, soups, pastas, eggs and lots of other things. Not all the time, but it sure wakes up a meal sometimes! Are you a hot sauce fan?![]()

I can't tolerate hot, but DS and DIL as well as our GS eat their weight in Texas Pete and jalapenos.
I DO love taco salad. DH makes the salsa mild for me and adds what he wants.

I didn't realize that Franks wasn't too hot. May have to try that one. Thanks!

@cindyNC I don't think it is as hot, and the green Tabasco is milder. Tabasco also has a sweet/hot one too but I haven't had it a lot yet.
We each have our own "hot" scale too! Try it and you might like it--go slow! I think after you get over the initial surprise, it gets better after a few times! That's what happened for me years ago. After I moved out here to the nearer southwest.

I don't care for hot sauce at all but what I have in the pantry for my husband and son are original Tabasco (husband) and Sriracha (son), which I read is about to be another item that there's a shortage of.

Franks is my favorite. I love it on wings and to dip my garlic bread into.

Texas Pete, when I want mild heat, usually on eggs.
When I want spicy, I like El Yucateco red habanero, Hoy Fong Sriracha (there's a shortage!), and Goya Salsita Jalapeno Chile. I have a bottle of Goya Salsita Habanero Chile but haven't opened it yet. I expect it to be added to my list.

Frank's, I'm not into very spicy sauces.
