I'm in Pa. and was just there this morning. It's about  2 miles from my place. Good store and has been there around 15 years or so.

@Buffalogal47

So, welcome to NC.

There is a Wegmans in Durham, NC.

P.S.  We have falls too.

Have been fortunate to see your side of the falls along with the Canadian side a few times.  While ours are not as Big, they are very sincere.

Just thought 💭 Durham might be closer for you.

There is a Wegman' s about 15 to 20 minutes from me.  I like to go there for specific things, but they are so expensive compared to the other grocery stores. I would never do all my shopping there.

Some things that are worth the trip are a 10 lb bag of potatoes and canned veggies.

I used to go for the sushi family pack for $19 and change.  The same item is now a few cents less than $30.  Their seafood and other meats are twice as expensive.  I can go to the local farmers market and pay less.

My son lives close to Wegman's and I always stopped in to get my grands a treat.  Four small bakery cookies used to cost $5, they are more than $10 now.

We buy our cheap boring food at Shop Rite, canned goods, household cleaning goods,etc. Wegmans is not the kind of store you buy that stuff in. Bought some beautiful fish and some shrimp in Wegmans yesterday. It's a wonderful store.

Wish they'd come to FL along with ShopRite.  We have no good food stores here except Publix which is IMO overpriced compared to these stores.

I miss NJ for many reasons but food store is near the top😉

I have a Wegman's close by, but pre-pandemic I rarely shopped there. I would constantly get distracted and be there for well over an hour. It's destination grocery shopping. Wonderful destination shopping.

Guess I am in the minority here...I find Wegmans to be so much less than before.
Since the pandemic I see a store no better than the any other option.  I realize staffing and supply chain are issues, but even so.  Bare shelves and  nothing but Wegmans products where there is stock, I personally like choices.  And Wegmans products just are not cost effective enough and/or a quality level that makes me go back for more after trying something.  I have shopped at Wegmans for years, going to other stores only rarely....now I find myself at the other store more often as Wegmans is so depleted and just seems to me like they are not adapting to the changes brought on by the current situation in the marketplace.
The one thing I do love at Wegmans is the self checkout scan as you shop app!!  Best thing ever for grocery shopping!

@Buffalogal47,

I'm right there with you!

When I lived in Westchester County, NY, I used to drive to Woodbridge, NJ, to shop.  That was before the Montvale, NJ, store opened; which was about about 15 miles from me.

After I moved to DE, Wegman's opened literally 5 miles from my old home.  Now that I'm in DE, I drive to PA.

When Wegman's opens in DE, I will shop at that one.  I don't care that I will be an hour away.
