I got some groceries yesterday and mistakenly left the 12 pack of bottled water in the car trunk. The temps got in the 70s. Would you still drink this water?
I have heard many times that you shouldnt leave water in a warm car overnight. Something about the heat and the plastic of the bottles causing a chemical reaction!!
Thank you!!

It is fine, drink it.

@CherryHugs I wouldn’t drink it if the taste was altered. My son used to keep his water in the hot garage at his place and 8 could taste the plastic.I had to get him to sto0 that.

It's fine. Water gets left on trucks and in warehouses without air conditioning in July all the time.

When bottled water is shipped to stores, you can bet it’s a lot hotter than seventy degrees inside the trucks.

Of course you can drink it.I leave bottled water in my trunk all the time during all 4 seasons.I wait until someone can carry it in for me.Sometimes it’s in there for a couple of days.No issues ever!!
