Re: Wasn't Chef Todd English on HSN?

I really liked his cookware before he teamed with Joy. He might have made some money, but that was a huge mistake. Glad he is back...alone. Will wait and read reviews. If they are good, will definitely purchase. He said he will be bringing in new items.i am watching more evine than other channels these days.

Didn't QVC just sell these greenpans a few days ago with Trisha Yearwood representing them?

Re: Wasn't Chef Todd English on HSN?

I always associated the green pans more with Joy Mangano than Todd English, but I guess they were partnered in that venture or else he was just a paid spokesman (they probably wanted a name chef to give the brand legitimacy). And he did do other (probably better) products without Joy. Maybe that was the first ceramic non stick? And they sold millions of green pans. While some think they are junk there are others who seemed to like them -- now Joy must have divested herself from them because the green pan was recently being sold on QVC.

Very satisfied with his pans. Got them from HSN B4 he partnered up with JM - like her hangers, but c/n listen to her. Pots are great - bell shaped w/ handles on sides. Nonstick is still great! Pans look like new and it's been a long time, using d/w cleaning them. Got his PC from HSN and it's great - as a slowcooker. Still haven't worked up the nerve to pressurecook since the CE PC I had spieled mac/cheese all over kitchen!!! but, will one day... Don't think you'll regret your purchase. SmileGood Luck and enjoy your purchase!

Don't know anything about his cookware, but do know he left his bride-to-be standing at the altar........

Re: Wasn't Chef Todd English on HSN?

I bought a large skillet and lid and also a large ""hot pot"" of Todd's. They are excellent cookware and easy to clean.

I have several high end cookware sets and these 2 Todd English pans are the first I grab.

Re: Wasn't Chef Todd English on HSN?

I got a set of his green pans from HSN years ago & they were the worst pans ever.

His new ones sound interesting but I don't need that many so I haven't done extra research on them.. Loved the copper color though.

Regarding his engagement to Erica Wang, Wikipedia says the wedding was "cancelled in situ in 2009." I knew what in situ meant but couldn't imagine how a wedding could be cancelled that way. LOL!
