I read here & get hungry with all these tasty eats! DH does some light cooking. I have been moved to just one tube feed, overnight. During the day I started on clear liquids then advanced to soft foods. Next week I have another scan which I hope is clear & they may remove the tube. Fingers crossed 🤞

Redecorating is about to commence.  We've started the dismantling and packing.  That's going to take awhile and we'll have a lot to donate to the resale shop. Carpet and laminate flooring has been chosen and will be ordered this week.  The project will be a long, drawn out process since we're traveling some and have some appointments on the calendar and we'll need to work around all of that.  It'll be a chaotic mess for a couple of months.

We had leftover Chicken Florentine, leftover spaghetti squash, and roasted Brussels sprouts for lunch.

I made Old Fashioned Swiss Steak for dinner.  I had forgotten how good it it!

DH has an appointment later this morning which will push lunch a little later, so I'm making something that will come together quickly and easily.  When I select my tray of thin cut ribeyes at Costco, I do a quick calculation, hoping to arrive at roughly 7-8 oz. per steak.  In the last bunch they snuck in a 10.7 ouncer.  That's too much for either of us so I thawed it overnight and we'll share it in a steak salad.

I discovered a pack of taco soup mix that was in a gift basket I received for Christmas. I just assembled it, adding hamburger, Ro-tel and black beans. My gosh, I like spicy foods, but this is so spicy that my husband may turn up his nose.
