Re: WHATS COOKING iN THIS MONTH OF APRIL?

Well I give up.  My youngest DD saw the neurologist on Monday and she would not write an order for a tilt table test.  She said to go back to cardiology.  So I got her an appointment this morning.  I was not able to go with her but texted her a script of what to say to him.  He did another EKG and there is no tacycardia so he refused to write an order for the tilt table test.  I still don't understand the big deal about doing a tilt table test just to rule out POTS.  I asked my DD if he had a reason for her fainting.  He did say it could be related to her polycystic ovary syndrome but again we have no definite answer.  The good thing is that it happened less when she was working with the medical accomodations she had and even less after she got fired.  So I guess whatever is causing it she will just have to manage it with accomodations.

Tonight I am having pasta with goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes, olive oil and garlic.  DD is making her own dinner and DH is eating at his blues jam.

@ninjawife  How frustrating.  Sorry to hear of the struggles with your daughters diagnosis and treatment.

@Pooky1  I hope you get some answers on your back issues.

Tonight will be entree steak salads and garlic toast.  I may make a piece of salmon for mine instead of steak.

Re: WHATS COOKING iN THIS MONTH OF APRIL?

We got our big shopping trip done yesterday.  I was worn out when we got home so I stuck the pork chops and steaks in the fridge.  This morning I did all the repackaging and vacuum sealing.  DH mentioned that he hit a pothole driving to Chicago the other day.  Now there's a slow leak so he's got to get that taken care of.

DS and the kids will be here in a little while. The kids asked for breakfast.  That means bacon, Amylu's breakfast sausage, scrambled eggs, low carb French toast w/butter & SF syrup, and fresh mixed berries.  I got the berries at Costco.  They're beautiful and they were a great price.

Re: WHATS COOKING iN THIS MONTH OF APRIL?

Actually bought a chuck roast --I know--no, I didn't win the lottery😄 but it was a reasonable price and threw it in my crockpot to cook all day long---OMG--was such a heavenly smell!! I want a candle  called, pot roast in a crockpot--😁 anyway- shredded it and made French dip sammies with it!! Had a nice gravy/jus, really good ciabatta rolls and coleslaw---have enough leftover for another round tonight and then maybe some for a soup. Heart
