We are having chili and crusty dinner rolls tonight.  Maybe a side salad too.  We often eat soup or chili all winter, but we enjoy it in the summer too.

We have nowhere to be today so we'll probably have a leisurely coffee time and do online worship this morning. If it stays dry DH wants to do a few things outside.  Since we got our gas fireplace insert last year, we obviously haven't touched the wood we had stacked.  He found someone to take the wood and he dismantled his woodshed.  That thing was such an eyesore.  It's gone, thankfully, but he needs to burn all the scrap wood.   I'll work on laundry. 

Lunch - 

- Bacon Cheeseburgers with fixins, wrapped in a large lettuce leaf

- Broccoli salad (the last of it)

DH will have chicken fajitas to finish off his grilled chicken from yesterday. For dessert beautiful strawberries from Costco over pound cake & topped with. whipped cream. Maybe he will snack on chips & quac while watching NASCAR. We are expecting some rain this afternoon so no sitting out for us. 😑😒

Leftovers from our family Sunday dinner yesterday; ham, turkey, mac and cheese, green beans, slaw, deviled eggs, and cake.

I'm wiped out and groggy this morning, can't snap out of it.  Coffee didn't even touch it.  That's what I get for staying up late last night 🤦‍♀️.  Rain is on the way but we'll have time to get a walk in. 

No cooking today.  It's Fasting Monday.

We are having a cheeseburger bake and cole slaw tonight.  The cheeseburger bake is so simple. Crescent roll dough, browned ground meat, onion, and diced pickles.  Colby jack cheese, then another layer of crescent dough.  I'm sure it will be good.
