Vitamix

My blender has just died. It is my second blender in 4 years. I am seriously thinking of getting a vitamix. Since it cost a lot of money, I would like to know is it worth it? On QVC they list several models, so which one would you recommend. There are a couple selling with free s/h so I'm thinking one of those to save on money. Thank you.
