It is always nice to have the option of a 64 oz container if you need it later on. It does not mean you need to make 64 oz every time you use it. It's like an insurance policy....you may not ever need it, but it is nice to know you have it when you do need it!

I can feel myself starting to cave... Thinking about get-togethers, the 64 oz would be nice... I don't have to make 64 oz. at a time... I could still put it on the counter and just put the container next to it...

edit- CAVED! Ordered the black. When it started to sell out I knew I would regret it if I missed out. I've been wanting one for a while, especially after my gallbladder surgery. My body just cannot handle processed foods anymore. Everyone that got one- enjoy!I am super excited!

I was hesitant about that at first, but I will just place the container next to the unit. I would rather have the 64 and not need it than have a smaller and wish I had the larger. Plus, this deal was just too good for me to pass up on a product I have been considering buying for a long time.

I am so glad to see people saying this is a good deal. I bought it this morning not seeing a presentation or any reviews, but it's a Vitamix, right? Cannot wait to make ice cream, soup & green smoothies with this thing! Trying to eat vegan & this will help so much. Just an FYI - my current cheap blender is super loud & I have to run it so long in the morning for my smoothies, the hubby will love that I won't have to run a blender as long in the morning. Looking for recipes now, so I can buy my ingredients & be Vitamix ready when it arrives. Oh & the nut butters?? Wow.

Hello! I just got the basic black. Nothing fancy - it will sit in my appliance garage or out on the counter - not sure yet. Do you have one or did you order one? I have looked at them for years & have gone through 2 other blenders that I didn't like. It seems that everyone likes them - many 'health food' people recommend them. Hope it's here by Friday! Free S&H too, can't beat it!

We just ordered this last night as a wedding gift for my stepdaughter. Great price plus free shipping made it an easy decision. I had looked earlier this week to see what prices, which model and easy pay offers. Glad I waited!

I ordered the black in this model too. Wanted turquoise which wasn't available in this model. I figure if it bothers me I can stick a Hello Kitty sticker on there and call it the Limited Edition Hello Kitty model I had been waiting and waiting and didn't like this most recent TSV because I knew I wanted variable speed and when this deal came up I just couldn't pass it up.
