Has anyone had experience using this new Personal sized Vitamix?

Haven't purchased. Hoping it's the August 17 TSV. Internet/uTube reviews quite favorable.

I want to buy my niece a Vitamix for Christmas - I think this model might be the one for her.

I don't know about this one, but I have the Creations. I got it as a TSV 3 years ago. Love it and use it every day. It has a smaller container than the large one, and I find it to be perfect. I wouldn't want a smaller one it would be less versatile. This is an expensive, powerful, wonderful product. For my budget and counter space, I wouldn't want two, so why not have the more versatile version…. it's a great compromise between the large on and the 30.

I have a thorough review of the Vitamix S30 on my youtube channel worth checking out, goes over most everything with its features and what its setbacks are.

After coveting my Vitamix every time she came over, my neighbor bought the s30 because it was small and less expensive (she refused to get a reconditioned).

I got to play with it and have to say, after using a "regular" Vitamix - it left a lot to be desired. The personal jar is a nice touch but only if you really are going to use it. The other jar that comes with it is rather small. I like to make smoothies for my whole family and I wouldn't be able to do it in that one. After seeing it in person this s30 review is spot on.

Personally, for the price I whole heartedly would recommend a reconditioned full size Vitamix for less.
