Vita Mix Power Question

Carolyn (my favorite host) has mentioned several times that the mixer presented today has the most powerful motor of any VitaMix offered on QVC.

Does anyone know if this motor is more powerful than the 7500? I got the impression when they presented it last time that the 7500 (which I have) was the more powerful of the models. Can't access the information on my computer right now, and would like to know if this one is the more powerful of the two.
