Using Coconut Oil instead of Vegetable Oil in Baking?

Finally bought some coconut oil and was debating on using it instead of vegetable oil with my Ghiradelli brownie mix. I googled and found all sorts of info and opinions but it was all over the board. Has anybody done this?
