I bought this TSV vitamix yesterday!! Am so excited!! My old one is 36 years old, all stainless steel and was my moms. It did so well until very recently and I am sad to say that I will miss it; but can't wait for a new one. Good info about the dry container as I was thinking about ordering that too. Not quite sure if you really need it to process grains into flour as I did that with my old one and the container is the same size. This was what I wanted in the price range I wanted. I went to the VM website and there are re-con ones for $40 less but not the same model or any accessories. Amazon has this one for $500, so I think it's a great deal. Plus easy pay and free shipping----a great deal.

I thought the same thing about the TSV.  I ordered it yesterday too! It really is a good deal, plus I can make my own mayo and creamed soups!

This is cute and a little funny. On one of the Chopped jr. shows the winner was asked what he was going to buy w/his winnings and he said a Vitamix.

Thanks Tigriss for posting this! I had a hard time picking the color and ended up gong with the Champagne.. Looks great! I have been wanting a Vitamix for years and this pushed me over the edge to try. My daughter and I love smoothies and the thought of being able to make ice cream and soups too just made it that much more tempting LOL! Enjoy your new Vitamix!Woman Very Happy

@Tigriss  What I am concerned with is that there is no model number listed anywhere. The price of the vitamix varies with this. I prefer knowing if I am going to get an outdated or old model.

This occurs with the computer laptops that QVC sells. They are overpriced and older versions.

I'd rather go to costco and get one on sale. Same applies to the vitamix.

And I have had mine for years and I would prefer the smaller container not only because it fits better under cabinets but also because if you are not as tall as me (5'9") you will have a hard time.

A Vitamix is similar to a Dyson.

Overpriced but once you have them, you fall in love.

My research shows that while Vitamix doesn't carry this specific Creations Gallery, it is an up to date model made for QVC.  With Vitamix, nothing is really out of date because of the build quality.  THis is one of the few appliances that the company builds with the expectation that it will last a lifetime versus a few years like my sister's Samsung washer/dryer they bought 2 years for the washer and 6 years for the dryer before they died beyond repair cost.  My washer/dryer are from the late 90s and still going strong from when I got them in 2000.  This is the life of new appliances.

I am 5'8" and my sister is 5'6" and neither of us have issues with using the tall 64oz container and tamper. I love the colors, the price, the flex pay, and the combo with the books.

I bought this machine, the very first Creations Vitamix TSV years ago and although I heard the host say this morning that the price is the lowest Vitamix Creations price QVC has ever had, technically that's not correct as I paid $4 LESS around 7 years ago. ~I know, splitting hairs~ but when they say these things it really bugs me when they are not true (I actually have my original Q receipt in my cookbook and just checked~) LOL!

HOWEVER, this is one of the best machines made and the price is fantastic and worth every penny.  The carafe is tall and doesn't fit under my cabinets in my five year old home so I did buy the smaller carafe and now have two.  Also worth every penny as I keep my machine on my counter and use it for everything....

It's a GREAT DEAL in my very humble opinion.... if you want it, I think this price is great. Oh and back then they only had black!  Woman LOL

@CalMom....The demo shows that it is the 5200 model with the Creations Gallery colors.

I have the 5200 as well with the tall container.

FYI, the small container is $99 at Costco when there is a show at the store.

Re: Upcoming Vitamix TSV

[ Edited ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ng4G9TrsHkESo...I'm plotting to make almond milk in my Vitamix that is arriving tomorrow.  I'm a milk purest and nut milks don't do my taste buds joy like cow, sheep, goat...I can tell the difference between full fat all the way down to skim.  It is my go to comfort drink/food...better than alcohol.  I get organic, skim since I drink so much, about two gallons a week. (Before you go on about milk, I've stayed away from it for two months to make sure it wasn't a allergy/diet/digestion issue, so I keep drinking it.)

I found recipes on youtube for fresh almond milk and figure that it has to taste better for drinking than commercial almond milk.  I the commercial in my smoothies now, but I can't drink the stuff.  I can barely stand it on cereal because of the sweetness...I get unflavored so not sweetened for me.  I would love to see if the fresh stuff is way better than the commercial one.  I keep nuts in the house...haha....so I have almonds to use all the time!  I can make enough for a week and put it in my weekly smoothie making that I freeze in mason jars and pull out the night before, so I'm not playing with sharp blades at 5am.
