I just looked at Bed bath and beyoun on lline and they do have some electric perculators.  But hey are a little pricey.

I used Farberware electric percolator for many years - and each one lasted around 5 years. The last one I purchased lasted 3 months. I also had a Hamilton Beach that lasted 8 months. Bought another Hamilton Beach 2 months ago - and hoping for the best. They're made in China - probably the same factory - out of some faux metal. They just stop working. Bed/Bath did exchange the last Hamilton Beach for another one. At Bed/Bath they don't show any more electric percolators - just those big drip coffee makers - which I have no interest in. They need to be manufactured in the US.

@Maltichonmom17 - I really miss my Platinum too.  It's the model I started out with as a TSV from QVC many years ago.  It stopped working after about 18 months.  I called Keurig to complain and they shipped me another Platinum free.  I used it for another 4-5 years.

When it went bad, I called Keurig again and they shipped me a K525 which was the pre-cursor to the K575 which is offered now also free of charge.  It is still working fine (fingers crossed that I don't jinx it by saying that.  Of course, this was in the early infancy of Keurig when they were wanting to keep their customers happy. I doubt they would do this now.  If I had been smart, I should've asked for the K55 so I could use any K Cups. Live and learn.

In any event, I'm on my 3rd Keurig and only had to pay for one.

Although I love the blue K Select and the price, I'm skeptical based on some reviews I've read on several websites.

Re: UPDATE ON KEURIG TSV

[ Edited ]

@WORKING GAL, we probably started with Keurig at the same time. My Platinum was my first and the TSV. It was perfect.  My K55 is adequate and gets the job done, letting me pick and choose what k cups I want. I'm convinced that Keurig will continue to only offer their best models with the branded k cups feature and that makes me feel a little peeved. I really wish I had ordered the Cuisinart coffeemaker for k cups before it was discontinued.
